A Detroit area Festival that has something for everyone.
Saturday April 19th (Doors at 5PM) at the Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac Michigan.
Artists will be displaying their works.
Vendors will be selling interesting crafts.
Non-profit organizations will have booths educating people about their causes.
People will be getting down to the sweet sounds of a bunch of great talented musicians.
We have personally put a word in with the Great Spirit to let the sun shine, so we can open up the awesome patio.
Food and Drink will be plenty.
It will be the event you talk about for years to come

Muruga will help turn this Earth Day festival into something spectacular.
Born Steven Bookvich in Detroit, while playing Woodstock he met Swami Satchidananda who gave him the name Muruga.
He has played and recorded with George Clinton and shared the stage with too many to mention. It was in the early 90’s that Muruga urged Merl Saunders to record "Blues from the Rain Forest." Jerry Garcia came in and played on that Grammy nominated album.
Muruga recorded on the Merl Saunders & The Rainforest Band’s live CD "Save the Planet So We’ll Have Some Place to Boogy".
The Macpodz are an electrified jazz quintet from Ann Arbor, Michigan in the tradition of Miles Davis and Frank Zappa. These guys are on there way to greatness playing festivals across the country, including Wakarusa this year. Here’s your chance to say, "I saw them cats in 2008 at the first annual Earth Fest at the Crofoot".
