"MR SHZ from Detroit, is a funk, rock, jam oriented band, playing an eclectic mix of original music and covers. They ‘officially’ formed in the Spring of 2009 and have since played for over 20,000 people at the 2009 Detroit Marathon and then the 2010 Komen Race for the Cure, as well as multiple gigs at the Hard Rock Café, Detroit, played the inaugural recording of MotorCity Special at the Jazz Café inside Music Hall, Detroit, and will be opening the Roots Jamboree festival in Ypsilanti, this Summer 2010. The members of MR SHZ come from diverse musical backgrounds, from Jazz to Hendrix, and everything in between. With 2 guitars, bass, drums, and a saxophone, their unique sound is sure to knock your socks off!"
