Deolinda is a Portuguese quartet that draws on the roots of Portuguese traditional and popular music in creating their original songs, animated on stage by vocalist Ana Bacalhau with support from guitarists Pedro da Silva Martins and Luis José Martins, and bassist Zé Pedro Leitão. Deolinda deliver exuberant, sometimes comic performances, with sweet and catchy or softly melancholic guitar melodies, and music littered with emotive references to fado and other musical traditions
