More than two dozen abstract works, including an unseen final painting, by the internationally acclaimed artist and educator who left Jerusalem at age 17 and forged a life in the American Midwest.
Khoury (1941-1997) earned his MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art and spent three decades in the Art Department at Central Michigan University. Also a prolific writer and speaker, Khoury’s words will share the gallery with his art works.
January 31-April 27, 2008 in the Main Floor Gallery.
Free with Museum admission.
The exhibition opens at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 31 with a public reception featuring complimentary food and drink.
