One after another…

An exhibition of installation work by emerging Detroit area artists

The Artists work around an idea of truth of materials to express time, place, and storytelling that speak to the human condition within an urban landscape. The show lies somewhere between Donald Judd’s “one thing after another” and Miwon Kwon’s book One Place after Another: Site Specific Art and Locational Identity
Found objects and construction materials are ordered, stacked, and placed to develop impressions of place and expressions of identity. So there will be five of us Me, Amanda Thatch, Gabe Hillebrand, Nathan Vince, and Madeline Stillwell.

I'll have people email you some images and bio/resume stuff to you so you get some impression of what's going on. Also, Nate would like to come by the Gallery to look at the space and think about it. It's still open on Saturdays right? I'll give him your cell number as well.
