About Tom Blaser y Sus Amigos
Tom Blaser Y Sus Amigos took its root in early jam sessions between various friends during July of 2009. One thing led to another, and an early incarnation first took to the stage at a Labor Day 2009 Jamboree at Park Bar in Detroit. Tom Blaser Y Sus Amigos are breaking genres and bending minds with their individual blend of acoustic guitars, electric bass, flute, percussion, and the occasional banjo or harmonica. The band wears their influences on their sleeves; there are elements of Americana, Jazz, Flamenco, Rock, Indie, Country, and Traditional Roots Music.

"MR SHZ from Detroit is a funk, rock, jam oriented band, playing an eclectic mix of covers and original music. They formed in the spring of 2009 and played for over 20,000 people at the Detroit Marathon, as well as multiple gigs at the Hard Rock, and will be opening the Roots Jamboree festival in Ypsilanti, Michigan this Summer 2010. The members of MR SHZ come from diverse musical backgrounds, from jazz to Hendrix, and everything in between.
