Detroit Duo ADULT., known for their synth-punk music, will present a short, silent experimental horror film accompanied by their own peculiar electronic horror music.
The film, entitled "ENCAMPMENT," was written, produced and directed by ADULT. earlier this year especially for this DIA performance.
The film follows a woman's transmigration from her regular life into a new society of deceit. Filmed entirely in Michigan with all local actors, "DECAMPMENT" explores ADULT.'s obsession with an often overlooked and distinctive aesthetic that they call "midwestern horror".
