Pinball Pyramid @ The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids 10/06 - 10/07

So you love pinball right? Can't wait for the Michigan Pinball Expo to make it's way back around in April? Well here's a chance to take a road trip to the west side of the state to the arguably coolest town in the entire state, Grand Rapids. The Pyramid Scheme bar has steadily built up it's reputation as a pinball mecca on the west side of the state, bringing in dozens of top ranked pins ranging from Attack From Mars to Medieval Madness to The Addams Family and many other greats of pinball history. Rivaling the legendary greats such as Pinball Petes or the now defunct Van Dyke Sports Lounge, Pyramid Scheme owner Jeff VandenBerg and company have brought pinball back in style, with a determination and passion for the silver ball. Next weekend they are featuring a pinball show/tournament with over 50 machines taking over the entire venue.

The event runs this Saturday and Sunday, 2pm - 2am each day. All ages are welcome until 7pm, after which it is 21 and up only. $10 gets you in the door and all games are set on free play. Sunday will have a cash tournament with a $5 entry fee, with the top four spots winning a percentage of the entry fee money. In addition to over 50 pinball machines, the venue offers a great variety of craft beers from Short's Brewing, Founders, Bells, and good old standbys such as PBR. So get your flipper fingers on the road west to Grand Rapids this weekend if you love some pinball and have yourself a great time!
