Eastern Market-based fine art publisher and 1xRUN teamed up with the Eastern Market Corporation to assemble more than 40 local and international artists to Detroit to paint large scale murals throughout the district.
The inaugural Murals In the Market festival will kicked off on September 17th with scheduled events taking place through Saturday, September 26th.

A series of events are scheduled throughout the week, alongside the Detroit Design Festival and Thursday's annual open-house, Eastern Market After Dark.
