air guitar contest.
At Diesel, contestants can
sign up to perform 1 minute of Sponge’s hit song “Plowed,” on stage - showing
off their best air guitar skills! Sponge will be on hand to judge the contest,
and the winner will be awarded a guitar signed by the band at the end of the
night!
Doors are at 7 pm, and
regional rock favorites One Block South, The Something Others, Mac Saturn, Sixe
and Blind Season open this ALL AGES show. Tickets are $12 in advance/$15 day of

massive airplay on radio stations from coast to coast and were in heavy rotation
on MTV in the late 90's. After "Rotting Piñata" went Gold, the band toured
internationally, and followed up with the critically lauded CD “Wax Ecstatic,”
garnering additional hits "Wax Ecstatic" and "Have You Seen Mary?”
,
Dedicated road warriors,
Sponge continue to tour the country, wowing audiences with their no holds barred
live performance.
Sponge will have copies of
their latest CDs “Rotting Alive,” and “Deep Cuts Live,” plus limited edition
T-shirts for sale at the show.
