Haven't seen some local bands for a while? Or, maybe you have and you just need another fix of home cookin'? The Berkley Front has what your looking this Friday with Rogue Satellites, The Philter, Lost Boys and the Counter Elites. The Rogue Satellites are a dark indie pop duo that I have been meaning to see for a few years now. The Philter I have seen and was impressed with their surf punk pop explosion. Lost Boys have Connie Myrick who sang lovely synth pop as part of Nightlife so it will be interesting to see her in a different setting playing it raw and punky, yet still remaining lovely. The Counter Elites open it all up with some quick and snappy punk. Check them all out at their bandcamp links, then go see'em:
