Saturday July 11 2015 – 7pm until midnight
Atomic Cafe
10326 Joseph Campau, Hamtramck, MI
The call deadline is June 13 2015!
On Saturday July 11 2015 at Atomic Cafe in Hamtramck, we will be hosting our 3rd annual exhibition of tiny art called “Small Wonders“. This exhibition will showcase numerous fine art pieces 5 inches and under from artists local and worldwide. This year, we are excited to announce the addition of a showcase of tiny films 5 minutes and under to the exhibition! And once again, we welcome the smooth lounge singer extraordinaire, Konrad Lee, who will be singing a fine selection of tiny songs. Further details are coming soon, however the call for tiny art and the call for tiny films is now open!
A: We ask that all artists be sure their submission are no larger than 5 inches when submitting. If your piece is accepted and we see that it is obviously larger when brought in, we will review it once again for inclusion. However, we would prefer that artist think much much smaller for this exhibition. The smaller, the better! And please note that the overall measurement does not need to include any strings, wires, ribbons or whatever you use to hang your piece.
Q: Can I submit my ideas and/or sketches for review?
A: If you submit early (before June 1st), we will gladly review your ideas, but they will need to be quite clear and accompanied by sketches.
Q: What is the rest event about?
A: We are still working on the entertainment aspects, but lounge singer extraordinaire, Konrad Lee, will be present to sing a fine selection of tiny songs. Stay tuned.
