Taking place this Saturday is the 2nd annual REO Town Thrift Store Gala. So don your finest gently used suits and ball gowns and join an evening of burlesque, music, magic, comedy, food, booze and fancy outfits.
This year's event will feature some of the state's most talented performers in various states of undress, delicacies from REO Town's own Good Truckin' Food, beer brewed especially for us by Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale, and a whole mess of entertainment options.
The Klaw Mark Kittens, Mia D. Vine, Cinna Moan, Sadie Sparkles, and Gala Delish's burlesque sets will capture your hearts and minds! Ten of Lansing's thriftiest ladies will face off in Lansing's only pin-up pageant! Abbey Hoffman, Iris Thompson, James Gardin, Kathie Dunbar, Emily Dievendorf, Jeff the Magician, Ed Venture, Ixion Theatre Ensemble, and a slew of others will serenade you, tickle your funny bones, and boggle your minds!
Vintage Junkies, Rock and Rummage, and Thriftique will also be on site with some of their finest treasures! Forever capture your fineness in Decadence Dolls photo booth and then put on your dancing shoes while DJ Sammy closes out the night!
Tickets are available for $10 in advance or $15 at the door to anyone 18 and up.
