MCB has a few contributors who simply send us the things they plan on doing over the weekend and "highly suggest" that we post them...One of them we have nicknamed "DERP" and here is his/her weekend suggestions...we aren't sure who "DERP" is but they know who we are so we just do what they say posting about "DERP" means we will get a bunch of email from the other derplike contributors accusing us of favoritism....
"Lift is pleased to announce 5th Munny art exhibit, featuring over 20 local, national and international artists. The opening reception will be held at LIFT on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Admission to the show is free and all ages are welcome.The exhibit will continue through December 22, 2008. Sold pieces are available for pickup or delivery before Christmas. Some unsold pieces will remain on display longer.

The Shadow Art Fair is a juried event that allows local artists to exhibit and sell their works within a comfortable, friendly, and supportive setting. This one-day, 12-hour event is held two times a year at The Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Local music, featured brews, and other special activities add a distinct flavor and sense of community to this creative showcase.
The next Shadow Art Fair is December 6, 2008, noon to midnight, at the Corner Brewery.
