The Glitch Mob make their way back to Metro Detroit this
Wednesday night, October 22, 2014, with support from opening acts, The M
Machine and Chrome Sparks at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. The Los Angeles-based
glitch-hop trio released their second full length album, Love Peace Immortality earlier this year, which impressively debuted
at number 13 on the Billboard albums chart. Their live spectacle features a
multimedia sensory overload called “The Blade”, a breathtaking state-of-the-art
visual feat created by the same design team that has created legendary staging
for Daft Punk, Kanye West, Deadmau5 and Kaskade. When making Love Death Immortality, The Glitch Mob
aimed at creating an album that would thrill an audience in the live capacity. Their last
Detroit area appearance happened 3 years ago at the Magic Stick. They spent
much of 2014 performing at the largest festivals in the United States,
including New York City’s Governors Ball, Austin City Limits, Coachella, Ultra
Music Festival, and Michigan’s own, Electric Forest. This is one of the biggest electronic music shows of the year! Don't miss out!
