Last weekend I stopped into Showtime Clothing to do "an interview" with our main man Dan who is throwing a LITTLE party this coming Friday night to celebrate 20 years of business here in the city of Detroit. Since interviews kinda suck I decided to bring him a sandwich for lunch and he could just eat and nod his head to all my questions.
Having shopped at Showtime for a long time its easy to see why Dan has stayed in business through all the ups and downs in the economy - killer alternative clothing that no else offers and the attitude in the store that anything goes - if you want to try on a dress and pair of platforms go ahead even if your name is Frank or Jay or Dave or Tony
Showtime has it all including musical gear that kicks ass
MCB picked up one of these Italia guitars for Xmas last year
its very nice and well worth the bank roll
Here is shot of Dan after eating the lunch I brought to him

and then helping another very satisfied customer
get everything she needs for her Saturday night prowl
My personal favorites are the TOXIC WASTE shirtsShowtime is always running a giveaway contest
and the current item up for grabsis a TASCAM 2488 MC II mixer to be given away in mid July
Bottom line ...
Dan is throwing this gig on Friday night to show his appreciation for all the years Detroiter's have shopped at Showtime Clothing and in particular with all the hardships facing his customers these days he wanted to give back with a super fun time that was totally FREE!!!
Thanks Dan and Congrats from MCB!
