Huntsville, Alabama band Thomas Function is set to release In the Valley Of Sickness, it's second full-length and Fat Possum debut, in North America on October 13. The album will be available in CD, LP and digital formats. The band will celebrate the release with a massive tour, beginning September 21 in Huntsville, AL at the Voodoo Lounge and wraps up November 4 in Mobile, AL at the Alabama Music Box. Since its inception the band has released a few 7" singles on various indie labels (via Tic Tac Tally, Dusty Medical, Fat Possum) and its full-length debut, Celebration (via Alive Recordings). Add to that it's boisterous and wonderfully engaging live show and frequent touring, the band began to win over music lovers the world over.
Dusted Magazine says of the band's music, "Supremely hummable, lodged-in-the-brain melodies join with crisp jangly guitars and bouncy rhythms to create some of the finest pop-rock coming out today."
