TONIGHT & SATURDAY: Ann Arbor Folk Festival @ Hill Auditorium

As we mentioned last week, the AA Folk Festival returns tonight to Hill Auditorium for two dynamic and different nights of folk and roots music on Friday, January 29, and Saturday, January 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night. In keeping with the Festival's longstanding reputation, each night will feature a blend of renowned and up-and-coming performers, providing audiences with the opportunity to hear popular artists working at the top of their field while discovering terrific new talent. All funds raised through the Festival benefit The Ark, Ann Arbor's non-profit home for folk, roots, and ethnic music.

MCB's Drew Bender will be on the scene tonight shooting the goings on - if you see him around, tell him you like his hat - he'll be less likely to spend the night blocking your view.

Ann Arbor Folk Festival Highlight: Jer Coons plays on Friday evening with Iron and Wine and Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo) & Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) performing as a duo.
