French Horn Rebellion and Zak Waters
hit The Pike Room at Pontiac's The Crofoot Complex on this Sunday , November 16, with opening support from Alexis and Trey Simon. New
York's French Horn Rebellion formed in 2007 when the brother duo
decided to blend “hot beats” with their classical training.
Brothers, Robert and David Perlick-Molinari create undeniable synthy,
glitchy, and funky electronic music. The brothers play the french
horn and the bassoon, but have segued into the keyboard. Their album
“New Jack Swing, Pt 1” was released this week and among the long
list of collaborators you'll find, St. Lucia, Haerts, Ghost Beach,
The Knocks, Viceroy and curiously enough, pop legend, Jody Watley. Their music is some of the most fun and creative electronic music being created today.
"Swing Into It" Featuring Haerts
