This group had its inception at PaintCreek Center for the Arts, where all took classes. Under the tutelage of Susan Kell as wellas independently, their work has grown and developed and they have been accepted intomany juried competitions. Katherine Harra says, “ Sisters of the Brush” is an informal namewe gave to ourselves some years back as our artistic backgrounds and temperaments bonded us as good friends as well as fellow artists. The resulting acronym wasunintentional, but we've accepted it with good grace as inevitable.”

The opening reception on Friday, March 6 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. provides an opportunity
to have refreshments and meet the artists, and is free and open to the public.
