So we got a few copies of Nico Vega's self titled release middle of last week and I got my first chance to really delve into this band other than the few songs I have heard here or there....as I popped in the CD and settled in for a the 2 hr drive to Grand Rapids my phone chimed in about how the Air Force has a SUPERCAR program using the Dodge Challenger 
I drive the MCB Challenger full time as part of the "deal" worked out regarding MOTORCITYBLOG but its nowhere as cool as this monster from the USAF
Our suggestion?? Be the 3rd emailer( motorcityblog@earthlink.net ) asking for the Nico Vega CD because after 6 hrs of playtime on the road today (tornados on I96 added some drive time)
I will be buying the rest of this bands albums - amazing vocals - great changes - and I hear they put on an amazing live show to boot - Living Underground is blown out awesome and pretty much the whole record kicks ass starting from Burn Burn and Million Years
They opened for the Von Bondies and MCB's Amy Palomar nailed this photo set
MCB will have some tickets to this show at Small's Bar in Hamtramck next week so stay tuned for those soon and check the Smalls website for the tickets to be available for the Monday June 22nd show with Children's Collide - this show has been cancelled"MCB IS DETROIT"
