They Never Sleep (MCB photos) is the latest band fronted by Mike Hard, who over the years has fronted the God Bullies, Thrall, and the Brain Saw. In fact, TNS is sort of a combination of all three bands. The singer, guitarist, and drummer were all God Bullies, while Karen Neal (aka Queen Bee) played bass in Thrall and the Brain Saw.
This show is their CD release party.
Year of the Pig has been playing out for a year or two. Henry the bassist and John the drummer played together in a band called Diegrinder for over ten years. Henry played many years ago with an art noise project called Batterie Acid. John also played Harpo's a lot back in the day with Bloodshot.
Do not show up late for this show or you will miss the opener MADAME XD whose combination of eastern style detroit rock really will set the tone for this unique blend of bands on the bill
