Usually I would post a bunch of information about the band here
but the reason for posting this song today is credited with Comerica Bank.
You ask why??
I usually don't go this route on MCB but I was emailed today about how Comerica bank is pretty much axing customers who don't fit the new credit profile that the bank has set forth.
My pal sent me some info about how his company
which has banked with Comerica here in Michigan for over 40 years
was told a few weeks ago to "find another bank ASAP"
by these backstabbers.
You see - he runs a construction company that needs to BORROW $$$ monthly to pay all the bills and contractors he HIRES to do all the WORK that INSTITUTIONS contract out.
As it is in the construction world - his company goes out on the limb with no deposits or pre-payments to provide the materials for the projects he works on and in order to avoid penalties and/or surcharges his company PAYS THEIR BILLS ON TIME but has to wait for PAYMENT UPON JOB COMPLETION thus needed credit from the bank
(WHERE THE BANK MAKES $$$ ON THE INTEREST)
This is how they have done business for years - never defaulting on any portion of the capital the bank provided to the company and ensuring that the subcontractors and suppliers were paid in an orderly fashion.
Now Comerica is telling his company that they do not fit their lending model.
Now who is killing Michigan business?
Comerica Bank is killing Michigan business.
