It's a hot time for the Dex Romweber Duo.
Not only are they about to head out on the road with X frontwoman (and fellow Bloodshot label artist) Exene Cervenka (dates below), but the band's also got a new video for the song, "People, Places and Things."
Shot by director Jerry Stifelman, "People, Places and Things," was filmed primarily in Dex's own home - a repository of his substantial record collection, personal artwork, and an array of talismans and other significant objects. The video also includes live performance footage from the Duo's 2009 tour and archival footage from three documentaries featuring Dex & Sara Romweber - "Athens, Georgia Inside Out," a film about the 80s music scene in Athens directed by Tony Gayton; "Two-Headed Cow," a full-length documentary on Romweber and his music, also directed by Gayton; and "Now, It's a Rock & Roll Show!!!." a documentary on Snatches of Pink directed by Daniel Andrews.
Bloodshot Records also is offering
two new MP3s from Dex Romweber.
