They've been compared to a strange mix of influences -- Chan "Cat Power" Marshall fronting Queens of the Stone Age, Karen O. with Kings of Leon, etc. -- but the one thing that remains true, is just how infectious and unique this young band sounds. Mr. Gnome's latest album was recorded at Josh Homme's Pink Duck Studios and mixed at Butch Vig's Smart Studios. It's called Heave Yer Skeleton, and it's a monster. They're also supporting a new EP, titled Tastes Like Magic.
