Elle & The Fonts has been a staple of the Detroit Music Scene for the past 10 years. At times it was a solo effort, a two piece, and a full band. The current iteration is a 3-piece where all the members play various instruments. This has evolved the sound of Elle & The Fonts from a folk-based acoustic group to a full fledged indie alt rock juggernaut. Earlier this year, they released an LP entitled "H. Fox" named after guitarist/drummer Adam Leroy's forthcoming son. "H.Fox" has a sprawling mix from acoustic dream-weaving to all out fuzz-distorted jams. It is easily one of my favorite, if not my #1, local records of the year. Make sure to pick up a copy of "H.Fox" at the next Elle & The Fonts Show, or send them a message on Facebook!
