The Ghost Wolves, the female fronted guitar and drum duo from Austin, TX, will release their first double A-sided single on September 23rd, 2012. It is entitled "Getchya Hip Thrust" and features two tracks:
Side AA, "Black Crow", is the duo's collaboration with legendary Irish rock & roll renaissance man BP Fallon, who sings the male lead and provides a sinister spoken word performance. The track was recorded during a very late night get-together at Stephen Ceresia's farmhouse studio in Bastrop, Texas. The three had not previously met, but were mutual fans, and their shared love for transgressive rock & roll comes out in spades here.
ZOOBOMBS - Majestic Detroit - Oct 27th
Japanese cult rockers the Zoobombs are heading to Garden Bowl at The Majestic Detroit on October 27th on their upcoming North American tour in support of their tenth studio album, The Sweet Passion, which will be released in North America and Australia September 20 through MB3 Records. Originally available in their native Japan on June 6. The Sweet Passion is the Zoobombs first full length since 2007's B*B*B.
