Named for its two principle songwriters, Pete Harper and J.Blynn, with drummer Sarab Singh and Dutch bass player called "Whynot," Harper Blynn continue their hectic touring schedule this fall with a full North American tour in October and November with Greg Laswell. After five appearances at the CMJ Festival in New York - Along with originals from their critically acclaimed Loneliest Generation (produced by David Kahne and Malcolm Burn), Harper Blynn is known for peppering their live shows with incredible covers of songs ranging from the Stone's "Loving Cup" to Beyonce's "Halo," in which they add a bit of Dirty Projectors' song "Cannibal Resource" for good measure. View a live performance of "Halo" at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMpQ2Ct0d34. The band's three-part harmonies and expert songcraft make for exhilarating live shows.
