Atlantic/Pacific announce their first ever US tour. The band will hit the road this November in support of their debut album, Meet Your New Love – out October 26th on No Sleep Records. Featuring Garrett Klahn (Texas is the Reason) and John Herguth (House & Parish, The Love Scene) and a rotating cast of members – Atlantic/Pacific will kick off the dates with a record release performance in their home city of Brooklyn, NY at the Bell House on October 28th.
Formed in the summer of 2008, Atlantic/Pacific have been honing their sound ever since with performances in NY and Europe, sharing the stage with Mercury Rev, Neil Halstead, Chamberlain, and Walter Schreifels, including performances at the UK’s TRUCK Festival two years in a row. In the fall of 2009 they self-released their debut EP called Autumn Edition Volume 1. It was an introduction to their sound which is full of layered guitar work and pensive melodies ranging in influence from Fleet Foxes, Beach House, Washed Out and The Smiths.
Now signed to No Sleep Records, Atlantic/Pacific is set to release their debut album Meet Your New Love on October 26th and will be touring the US for the first time. Confirmed tour dates are below and there are a slew more on the horizon, so be sure to visit www.myspace.com/atlanticpacifcband for the most up-to-date tour information and to check out “Patterns” and “Some Weary Valentine” – two new songs from the upcoming album.
