Pet-n-Paw is a new pet boutique featuring a wide
assortment of holistic, organic, and healthy pet food options for dogs and
cats. Pet-n-Paw carries (only) Made in the USA products and retail, and will
appeal to not only Ferndale residents, but to pet owners in and around the metro
area who are dedicated in feeding their pets healthy pet food.
Pet-n-Paw is owned and operated by Kristen Schmitt, a
Ferndale resident, and founder of PetCare AuPair, a metro Pet Care Company
specializing in dog walking and pet sitting. “I love all things pets, but
pet nutrition has always been an area of interest, and with the ever growing
issues with pet food recalls from China, I knew I wanted to carry only US made
food and products for not only our PetCare AuPair clients, but for anyone
seeking better pet food options!” says Schmitt.
Pet-n-Paw carries pet food, pet themed products such
as leashes, collars, holistic pet products for cleaning and care, as well as a
large array of Michigan Made products and treats.
Pet-n-Paw will (soft) open Saturday, January
5th at 10AM. A Grand Opening is scheduled for Friday, January
11th from 4PM-7PM, in which patrons can meet the staff, learn about
pet nutrition, enter a raffle to win a $100.00 gift certificate, and mingle with
Ferndale Chamber of Commerce members, and local residents.
Pet-n-Paw is located at 23233 Woodward Avenue, just 4
blks North of 9 Mile in downtown Ferndale. Hours of operation are Monday through
Saturday from 10AM to 7PM, and 11AM -5PM on Sundays.
