Silent Lions are Toledo, Ohio’s terrible two-some of spooky soul. 
Dean Tartaglia plays effected bass (octave pedals, freak fuzz, atmospheric 
synths) with an arsenal of vocal distortions; drummer Matt Klein thrashes beside 
him, often providing soulful singalong harmonies. Silent Lions’ live shows sound 
as thick and creamy as they do on record. Their music has been tagged as “Spook 
Soul”, “Chill Punk”, and “Black Keys Destroy Nevermind.”
Their first release, 'The Parliaments,’ finds a weird world of 
ridiculously catchy pop hooks, born from lo-fi chaos, yet flowing smoothly from 
each 'verbed out track to the next. Produced by unofficial third member Zach 
Shipps (Electric Six), the songs draw you in, the production allowing you to 
hear them in a different light each time.
