One of the year’s most anticipated reunions, Failure are now out on their first tour in 17 years. The band performed their first show in February at the El Rey in Los Angeles which sold out in moments and was described by Spin as “so dynamic, sweeping, warm and expansive that it felt like the perfect combination of an arena show with an intimate setting,” with the Orange County Register calling it “an almost spiritual experience."
Widely hailed as one of the most underrated alternative bands of the 90s, Failure covered some of the same sonic territory as Soundgarden, Nirvana and Tool, but set itself apart with a lush and textured sound. Original members Ken Andrews, Greg Edwards and Kellii Scott make a stop this Sunday night at St. Andrews Hall.
