Make Dad’s day with Miller Lite’s original can!
Win a chance to toss out the first pitch on Father’s Day, thanks to Miller Lite
Orion Township, Mich. (May 15, 2014) – This Father’s Day when you cheers to dear ole Dad, you might choose to do so with the same light beer that changed the industry four decades ago.
Miller Lite transported us back in time by bringing back its original Lite can earlier this year. The nod to nostalgia continues this Father’s Day as beer and baseball bring families even closer together.
“There’s something special about sharing a beer with your dad on Father’s day – and the Miller Lite Original Lite Can is the perfect way to bridge that generational gap and pay homage to the guy who’s been your best friend for as long as you can remember, ” said John Ford, Miller Lite field marketing manager and Royal Oak resident. “We’ve been helping create great memories for nearly 40 years and we’re always excited to offer new Miller Time Moments for our fans. Watching the Tigers play baseball on Father’s Day. Wow, it’s going to be a perfect day!”
Even more memories can be made this Father’s Day – thanks to Miller Lite and the Detroit Tigers, too. Fans with an Instagram account are encouraged to upload photos of with their own fathers and hashtag them #HerestoDad by May 31 for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Detroit Tigers game on Father’s Day, June 15 at Comerica Park.
Fifty of those who enter – and show the best photos – will win tickets and entry to the Party in the Park picnic, complete with food and Miller Lite. Of those, one lucky fan will be chosen to throw out the first pitch.
