The Tender Box has topped the FMQB Specialty Radio Charts and wrote and performed the theme song to the Kid’s WB newest cartoon, The Spectacular Spiderman.Formed by four childhood friends in the predominantly Mexican American neighborhood of South Gate, The Tender Box was originally inspired by the post punk and synth pop groups of the 1980s. They’ve expanded on their sound by combining lush melodies with their original take on British influenced dark and danceable songs.
