PHOTOS: Mike Stern at Detroit Music Hall's Jazz Cafe
MCB's Drew Bender was out last Saturday night at the Jazz Cafe at Detroit Music Hall to see jazz guitar phenom Mike Stern's final set of his 2 night run. The Jazz Cafe was filled with jazz enthusiasts eager to hear Stern's unique blend of jazz that does not fit neatly into any radio format. In addition to his stellar cast of players, also joining Stern for the night's encore was Detroit's own Greg 'Vibrations' Williams who eliminated all doubt that a cat playing a hubcap, a penny whistle, and castanets couldn't jam just as hard as the other musicians.
