CW50 Presents Ty Stone’s Search for The Truth
American Idol Meets Making the Band style Band Search for Atlantic Recording Artist
Top Dog/Atlantic Recording Artist and Kid Rock Protégé Ty Stone needs a band. He’s seeking “The Truth” - a group of the very best musicians Detroit has to offer! “Ty Stone’s Search for the Truth”, presented by CW50, is a reality series documenting this search. Musicians are invited to compete to be in Ty’s band, and the contest will include judging by celebrity guests, as well as public voting and live performances. Contest winners will make their debut as "The Truth" alongside Ty Stone as he headlines St Andrews Hall on Thanksgiving Eve, 2009!

Musicians chosen to compete will be invited via email to first round auditions at Guitar Center in Allen Park, MI on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Having most recently sung the National Anthem at Kid Rock’s huge Comerica Park shows, Ty is excited about the opportunity to put together a talented band of musicians from Detroit. “If you're willing to work hard and commit yourself to the music, then you'll have the chance to play on the big stage. I’m looking for musicians who are ready to give it everything they've got: leave your ego at the door, pay your dues, and if you've got the talent -here's your opportunity to be seen and heard. It's your chance to shine!” explains Ty.
“Ty Stone’s Search for The Truth” presented by CW 50 is also sponsored by On the Rocks Detroit, Guitar Center, Showtime Clothing, Priss Make Up, Made in Detroit and Atlantic Records.
