The most fun you'll ever have supporting the arts!
The FJC is both one of the DIA's largest auxiliaries, and one of the most preeminent groups in Southeast Michigan's cultural scene. For over three decades, they’ve been committed to inspiring new generations of art-lover to show their support for the DIA. By bringing together young professionals, all with a shared interest in promoting the arts, the FJC has been credited with throwing some of the area's premiere social events.
These exciting soirees, generally held at the most prominent metro-Detroit venues, not only increase museum patronage, they also serve as an important source of revenue for the DIA at large. The proceeds help support the exhibitions, educational programs and magnificent collections, to which museum-goers have all come to know and love.
The FJC also sponsors events designed to educate potential collectors and enhance individual appreciation of art. These include: exclusive tours of artists' studios, private viewings of special exhibitions and selections from the DIA's extensive collection.
