Named by one source as "one of the 12 local bands to watch in 2012," The HandGrenades are a talented
bunch. Boasting a polished sound, with no shortage of catchy hooks, it's not surprising that The HandGrenades cite
The British Invasion as a primary influence. Additionally, prominent two and three‐part harmonies are reminiscent of
early Motown and undoubtedly contribute to the band' rockin'retro feel.
The Morning After is The HandGrenades' junior release, and their first recorded with Jim Diamond at Ghetto
Recorders (Detroit, MI). Diamond has worked with several independent artists, notably The White Stripes and
Electric Six. The Morning After is set to be released on March 30, 2012, both in hard copy, locally, and in the US and
EU via digital distributors.

Additionally, at the March 30th event, the band will premiere the official music video for their track "See You
'Round," produced by local filmmaker Ryan Trautmann, and starring Carly Francavilla (seen in Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr's
"Simple Girl" music video).
