A Little Pre-Opening Game Day Hype

Opening day for the Tigers is April 5, but I'm in Lakeland so I thought I'd give you a little taste of what to expect from the Tigers this year. While it was as hot as hades today, we're talking upper 90-degree temperatures, it was worth bearing as the Tigers rocked the Toronto Blues Jays 11- 7.

What can I say about Prince Fielder? At today's game he hit a homerun on what looked like a half-swing. If the Tigers play anything like they did today we can expect an exciting year with power hitting and fast pitching. Do yourself a favor and get some Tiger tickets, this could be one of those years that will go down in history!
