SATORI CIRCUS - Late August

(From Satori Circus) - Yep, its me again and I have quite a few things to let you know about. A bunch at the end of this month and highlights that will take me through to the end of they year. PLus, I'm working on a Web site for SC - www.satoricircus.com...about time, huh?

Aug. 23rd - I'll be with Torch W/A/ Twist at Cliff Bell's.
It will be wonderful to perform once again with those wonderful and talented folks...plus its Grace's Birthday so come and wear you pajama's...Slumber Party! Doors around 9p.




Aug. 27th - I'll be performing a few pieces for these two very talented young ladies who created Femilia Couture. Please read or look up this link...It will all be happening on that Thursday at Loving Touch Billiards in Ferndale...I think about 7p - Metro Times - Arts: Haute child in the city

Aug. 29th - Is the 3rd People's Art Festival at the Russell Industrial. Over the past two years SC has performed amongst some very cool artists and great entertainers. This year should be no different. I hit the main stage, by the dock(?) @10p. Then Sunday, Aug. 30th, a dear friend of SC's, Konrad Lee, performs his brand of lounge music. Along with one of his dear friends...Toledo. Konrad and friend hit the stage at 3p...same stage. Please check out link: www.peoplesartsfestival.com.

And please don't forget to vote for SATORI CIRCUS as Best Theatre Group in Detroit. Don't ask me how it happened, but its cool either way. So onto channel 4's site and create alias...and vote...presently I'm in 4th place...hahaha.

Also in September there is more Cliff Bell's w/ Torch With A Twist; a benefit in Windsor @RISE, the Dirty Show 10.5 (www.dirtyshow.org); Art Detroit Now (http://www.artdetroitnow.com/index.html)...which will take me all over the Woodward corridor of galleries and art institutions for a 4 hour performance - keep you posted; a few photo shoots...all very cool stuff.
Oct. has Theatre Bizzare the DAMNED II...and plenty of other things....a great year for SC...even with a bionic hip - hahaha.
