This Holiday Season marks the tenth year of Karen Newman’s holiday show. Karen has been dazzling Red Wing fans for years with her unparalleled version of the national anthem as well as scoring national tours with Kid Rock and Bob Seger. However, closest to Karen’s heart is her Detroit-based inspirational Holiday Show, where she will once again be performing holiday classics along with contemporary songs.
This year, Karen has partnered with Children’s Charities Coalition, a revolutionary collaboration of four non-profit groups devoted to the needs of children. Not only is Karen supporting this noble cause with show proceeds, she will be bringing 60 children who are beneficiaries of the charity to the show. “There’s nothing better than giving back,” says Newman, “The holidays are a magical time of year and these children deserve to enjoy the spirit and joy of Christmas no matter what their situation.” Karen will be performing on a breathtaking winter set backed by a star-studded band of Detroit music scene royalty.
