Karalavara is harsh, wicked, dark and spaced-out. Their music spawned from jamming drop-tuned heavy riffs and watching guns, bosoms and monsters on an old dial TV in their rehearsal space. They listen to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, The Stooges and bond with Electric Wizard, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Queens of the Stone Age. This melding of music tastes is how Karalavara fell together from members of The Kingsnakes and DirtyLoveBites. They recently unleashed their first single, Supercharging in the Haze, and have been tearing-up bars and clubs with their ferocious, heavy sound.

The Stimulus WHO IS STIMULUS An aggressive, energeticly packed punch in the face power trio, emerging from metro detroit. This angst driven threesome with blue collar roots has since been playing and performing in the dark corridors, in and around detroit. THE REBIRTH After reflecting back over the years it is cool to see how we got where we are, and how are sound has slowly transformed into something we can truly call are own. The Rebirth is the latest project were working on which goes alot deeper than just the music. Its a slight overhaul on all aspects of the band, a fine tuning if you will, a rebirth of sorts. We hope you enjoy the new direction. IS IT PUNK OR IS IT WESTERN So the new albums direction has taken us to a new place with are sound, well at least for now. Alittle punk alittle western with the same old attitude, we hope your as excited as we are for the upcoming release. Please stay posted for the release date. Long Live STIMULUS!

HAFLIFE came to be, fusing several musical styles (industrial, funk, rock and horror) to create a new genre called 'BOOTYCORE". Striving for maximum audience participation and energy level allowed by law (and sometimes beyond). They don't just play music, they entertain. HAFLIFE formed in 2000 from the remaining members of Mental Landscape. After releasing their first full length CD in 2004 as Haflife, they won Best Industrial Band at the Detroit Music Awards and has been nominated every year since. In addition to the Mental Landscape alum, HAFLIFE has added a live drummer, V (formerly of Passion Nouveau, Skin Horse and Toxic Beat Syndrome) and bass guru, Dean Western to lay down some tasty, dirty grooves.
