Imperial's Day of the Battle 2014 celebration kicks off in a big new way this year! We know that Detroit loves a good party and we're throwing one; get ready for Tequila, Gams, and Body Slams when Ooh La La Lucha takes over Ferndale on Saturday May 3. It's an action-packed night of Mexican-style Lucha Libre wrestling, burlesque, and (of course) great food and drink!
Tickets for Ooh la La Lucha are $20 advance, and go on sale Thursday March 20th at Imperial, Public House, and UHF Records in Royal Oak. 21 and older welcome.
In the spirit of giving back to the community, we're bringing back our popular skate deck auction this year. Bid on any of 20 custom-designed skateboard decks by the area's best tattoo, graffiti, and pin striping artists. Proceeds will benefit the Ferndale Football Boosters Eagles Nest, which helps fund Ferndale school football programs; and Brush Park BMX, downtown Detroit's first hand-built BMX park.

Sunday May 4 - Artist Reception at Imperial at 7PM. View the skate decks and meet the artists.
Monday May 5 - Cinco de Mayo celebration at Imperial - special menu and auction culmination.
