When you’re Littl’ans,
you’re on a different level of poised edginess.
In the few chaotic years as a band, Littl’ans – an Indie Brit Rock ensemble from London - have been arrested alongside music collaborator Pete Doherty, suffered exploding gas canisters and a double booking cancellation with Echo and the Bunnymen, and played at Dior fashion designer Hedi Slimane’s birthday party where they blew out the candles with Mick Jagger.
The high jinks paid off.
Littl’ans have since toured twice with BabyShambles, composed the original soundtrack for Dior Homme’s Summer 2007 fashion show, and recently signed to Brooklyn label Revtone Records. Primitive World is a classic album that exhibits the dark yet strangely up-lifting melancholy that encapsulates the band’s busy adventure in the dapper world of indie music.
After trampling through a SXSW gig that earned Littl’ans a major SPIN.com handclap as one of the next big bands to watch out for, the band returns to Italy before finally coming to NYC for an April run at The Big Apple.
