Lansing's DRL (Dirt Road Logic) have a new album on the way and will showcasing the disc at The Lager House in a few weekends with a great lineup to fill the bill....
It's a 7 song EP called, "the Rock-n-Roll EP" recorded at Rustbelt in Royal Oak produced and engineering by Al Sutton.
DRL has had some great shows in Detroit over the last year... including opening for the Supersuckers at the the Magic Bag, opening for a Brandon Calhoon and Robin Horlock at the Magic Bag and playing at the Honky Tonk Detroit show at the Magic Stick.

"Dirt Road Logic’s boisterous new sophomore record, aptly titled “The Rock’n’Roll EP,” shows the group’s progression from twangy cowboys to riff heavy, outlaw rockers. Whereas the band’s debut CD, “Great Lake Heartache” (2006) featured longer, bittersweet songs and lighter melodies, the new EP is a distorted, amped-up testament to American rock. " -Rich Tupica, Lansing City Pulse
and as for their music - it's pretty damned good.
