Kresge Arts in Detroit is pleased to announce that emerging and established metropolitan Detroit visual artists can now apply online for a $25,000 Kresge Artist Fellowship at www.kresgeartsindetroit.org.
These fellowships are unprecedented awards devoted exclusively to Detroit area artists and represent The Kresge Foundation's unwavering support for artists living and working in its hometown.
This year, the fellowships will provide support for 12 visual artists, rewarding creative vision and commitment to excellence within the following disciplines: Art and technology, book arts, ceramics, collage, drawing, fiber, glass, installation, metalwork, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video art and interdisciplinary work that includes at least one of these arts disciplines.

Kresge Artist Fellowships are funded by The Kresge Foundation and administered by the College for Creative Studies, with professional practice opportunities for the selected fellows provided by ArtServe Michigan.
