This Friday and Saturday is the City Lights Music Festival in Grand Rapids, a 2 day festival of electronic music that hosts national as well as local DJs and electronics acts. This will be the 4th year of the show and each year the crowds have increased. This year they are expecting over 10,000 people in attendance.
Headlining the show is the legendary artist Darude. Hell, I remember hearing Darude's Sandstorm nearly 10 years ago while in Germany and he's been going strong ever since. There will be food and merchandise vendors as well as several parties to join after the event closes.
Sure, for most of you reading this it means a drive across the state, but from the info on the website the trip will be will worth it. Also, for all the artists involved the prices for this event are very low.
