Actress Amanda Barker plays the role of E.B. Janet, inspired by E.L. James who wrote the novel 50 Shades Of Grey. She tells a tale of sexual domination and submission amid plenty of pop cultural jokes and a fun and cheeky soundtrack. Jokes and spoofs about Anderson Cooper, watersking, The Sound of Music, an electric toothbrush, and D cup cleavage were high points. The play was at times interactive and this added to the fun and outrageous nature of this production. One choice scene was in a hardware store with a great sense of physical comedy and banter between the studly lead male character and the naive lead female character. Another favorite moment was the bastardizing of Sting's I Will be Your Hero. The crowd definitely enjoyed this production and it was entertaining whether you read 50 Shades of Grey or Not.
