The fine folks over at Floyd's 99 are celebrating their Grand Opening today with a ribbon cutting and in-store party at 4pm plus they are hosting a fundraiser on Saturday to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation this Saturday 9/14
- Floyd’s 99, the original rock n’ roll barbershop that newly opened in Birmingham is partying for a cause on Sept. 14. The proceeds from all our services from that day will go to the JDRF to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
- Pick up a booklet with $25 worth of services they are giving away to people through September if they make a donation to the JDRF of $3 or more.
- The organizer of the annual JDRF walk in Warren is coming to the rock n' roll barbershp to get blue streaks of “sugar-free frosting” dyed into his hair in order to raise awareness for the walk on Sept. 29 (which raised nearly $1 million last year).
Floyd's 99 is located at 33779 Woodward Ave. in Birmingham
