“The Power of Myth”
is a new exhibition featuring works inspired by ancient and modern traditions of
myths and legends from around the world (running September 30 to November 10).
The Power of Myth reception is Saturday, October 12, from 7-9pm with live music
by The Hand in the Ocean.
Myths can help us grasp the narratives of our
everyday existence. Pieces celebrating classic mythology, urban legends, or even
some artist’s own dreamlike imaginings will serve as a visual exploration of how
myth is woven into the fabric of our
lives.
